Installing the Kiosk

The Kiosk can operate on Android or iPad. A dedicated app is provided to keep the Kiosk as Full Screen and always active.

Shop Kiosk is available via SLIKR Manager

Devices

We recommend the Android Tablet due to the extra features on the Kiosk but both devices will still work.

• Any Android Tablet (Minimum version 4.1)
• iPad Mini or iPad  (Min OSX 10)

Installation

Install the SLIKR Kiosk onto the tablet from the Appstore or Google Play

NOTE: Do not just search SLIKR and install the client app, we have a special one for the Managers and Kiosk.

Install both Shop Manager and if using Android Kiosk for Android

Kiosk for Android Samsung Devices

Samsung tablets has some additional steps requires. The power saving feature can interfere with some of our background processing that allows the app to update in real time.

Update Settings

• Device Maintenance
• Battery
• Unmonitored Apps
• Add Apps
• Select both SLIKR apps
• Apps will be added to the unmonitored list

Stand

The Kiosk needs to be visible and easily accessible for all clients. Consider a secure stand if there is a risk of theft or damage.

SLIKR can provide some small stands for trial purposes. Please contact us for additional information.
