Reminders

One of the key benefits of the Kiosk is the abiltiy to build your customer database and leverage that information to improve your shop revenue and performance.

Recommendations

Messages to help clients are welcome, too many or too long will annoy clients and lead them to unsubsribe. Understand your average service time and set it around that timing. For example the average men's barber interaval is 4.5 weeks. So set for week 4 or week 5.

Reminders are sent out every 6 hours during business hours for your shop.

Settings

Each reminder schedule can be adjusted to suit each shop.

• Number of Weeks : Weeks since last visit.
• Start Date : For existing shops who want to limit how far back to start.
• Mode : SMS, Mobile, Both

Notifications will be sent between the hours of 8:00AM and 6:00PM in the Shop timezone.

Message

The message must be under the standard SMS limit of 160 characters or it will be split into two and double the cost.  Keep messages short and to the point.

The following text variables can be added at any point:

{FirstName} - Replaces with user's first name

{LastName} - Replaces with user's last name

{ShopName} - Replaces with shop name

{ShopLink} - Replaces with shop's wait time tracking web-link

The below example is short enough to allow for longer shop and First names. We send a smaller URL link. You can change to suit your shop or requirements.
