Can I hide the wait time?

No.

It is not possible to hide the wait time. The core reason for SLIKR is to help smooth the flow of clients.

How you introduce clients to the system will determine your long term success, be sure to explain the benefits and you are giving them more certainty.

Clients are walking out

If the wait time for a shop is over 40 minutes then the total time for a client to get their service completed will be over 1 hour. Generally this is beyond what a client is prepared for.

If a client cannot wait this time, they are far more likely to appreciate the fact they can check-in online for next time. Be sure to explain.

They wait now, I get them in and they wait

True. But are there really happy with the wait? are they likely to return? You might get the $ for this visit but in reality the lifetime value of a client who returns all year is much higher.

If they come back once a month you can earn 10x the one off amount by not just giving a great service but by having showing you care about their time too.

You will see more walk-outs!

Be prepared. As SLIKR starts to smooth the flow, there are less people in the shop and more will walk in the door. They may be a little shocked at first to realise there is a wait but the fact they walked in is a positive. Get them onto the queue and explain so next time they can check-in.

Nobody likes to see a client walk out the door but it is not your fault or ours you are in demand!
